San Francisco is the primary setting of Zip Zip. Much of the city portrayed in the series is modeled after the real city in California, including the iconic house architecture and a key landmark of the city, the Golden Gate Bridge.
In one of the city's residential neighborhoods, main characters Washington, Sam, Eugenie, and Suzie live in a yellow house with The Livingstones.
